Lawrence Michael Szot, of Willow Springs. Beloved husband of Joyce. Loving father of Theresa (Dan) Kauss, Lawrence II, Nicholas, Chloe and Skylar Szot. Devoted grandfather of Ryan and Collin Kauss, Adalina and A.J. Szot. Dear brother of the late Frank (Joyce) Szot. Fond uncle of many. Visitation 3 to 9 pm Monday, Jan. 21 at HALLOWELL & JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 9:15 am Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Western Springs for Mass at 9:45 am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wellness House of Hinsdale appreciated. Mr. Szot was a teacher at Proviso East and West for many years until his retirement.
