Lucille F. Caponigro, nee Cocogliato, of Elmhurst, formerly of Lombard, beloved wife of the late Jess Alex; fond mother of Rosemary (Daniel) Postula; grandmother of Jessica (Kenneth) Qualtier, Kenneth Fletcher, Danielle Postula and the late Shaun Fletcher; sister of Mildred (Harold) Nicholson and the late Sam, James, Ben and John Cocogliato and Florence DiBona. She worked for over 30 years in the Proviso West High School cafeteria. Visitation at The Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Prayers Friday, Sept. 5, 9:15 a.m. to St. Pius X Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery.
